Book Club

Great reads and great discussions.  Six times a year, the CIR Book Club selects a book that provides insights into current and historical international issues and hosts informal, moderated discussions.  Recent reads have included:  In Spite of the Gods, the Rise of Modern India; the Peace to End All Peace, the breakup of the Ottoman Empire; Blood and Thunder, an Epic of the American West; and The Looming Tower, the Road to 911.

Ed Brown erbrown@yahoo.com is the moderator for the Book Club meetings, having taken over the position from Steve Kutay in September.  Contact Ed if you have questions or plan to attend a meeting.
